“Imauonotana-no-Ie” is located in a corner of Hagi's castle town, surrounded by a quiet atmosphere. The owners of this house have visited their parents in Hagi for more than 20 years, and the house filled with their memories was renovated and reborn in 2019 as renting a whole house inn.

This facility was vacant for a short time before becoming an inn. The owner wanted to connect this building which was built more than a century ago to the next generation, and to connect the castle town as a single building. However, they did not live there themselves. After much consideration, a friend of them stayed there and was pleased with the experience, which led them to where they are now.

The rooms include a four-room Japanese-style room and a Western-style room, the most changed in this renovation. This is a large mansion which is surrounded on three sides by a corridor, but the capacity is limited to a maximum of four people. This reflects the desire for people to enjoy the spaciousness of the space. The renovations have preserved as much as possible of what was there when it was built, and visitors will be able to experience the design and serenity of a Japanese-style house.

While there have been many renting a whole house inn in recent years with no key delivery, the beauty of this inn is that guests always have contact with a staff member when they check in. The staff's generous yet courteous service is heartwarming and seems to illuminate the lights of your stay.
