Hinode-kan

The inn carrying on the good Japanese tradition.

The approach to Izumo Taisha Shrine leads to the garden of Hinode-kan, blending in the scenery with pine trees. The main building which was built more than 100 years ago blends with the town of Taisha and seems to be natural to be there.

Hinode-kan has been in business since the Edo period. The current 8th generation owner says, "We'd like to offer the same service as before even through the time have changed". He is particular about Japanese-style, and it goes for the building and meals. If you walk down a corridor to a guest room, you will see Japanese traditional spot garden and courtyard. Of course, all guest rooms are Japanese-style rooms. A kaiseki meal, a traditional Japanese cuisine, served here is flavored a bit strongly in a traditional way of this area. The bath using ground water warms the cockles your heart.

The owner hopes you to relax your attention at this inn. The stay at the inn of Taisha, the town with a long history will be a memorable time for you.
