JIGOZEN HOUSE

Aiming for the comfort in your relatives' home.

"JIGOZEN HOUSE" is, as the name suggests, a whole-house-rent accommodation in Jigozen area in the opposite side of Miyajima. There is Jigozen Shinto shrine which is deeply associated with Itsukushima Shinto shrine, and this place has been related to Miyajima since ancient times. At present, this place offers facilities for communication such as Route 2, railway lines of the Sanyo Main Line and Hiroshima Electric Railway, there remain traces of the Historic Highway called Sanyodo (it is the third station from Miyajimaguchi Station on Hiroshima Electric Railway, the required time 6 minutes). If you enter the alley of the Historic Highway, you can get to the inn.

This inn consists of a main house and an annex. You will check in at the calm main house which was built about 100 years ago, and stay at the annex. There are a dining room, a living room and a bath in the extended part of the building. In the original building, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms which are used as a bedroom. We are careful about the cleaning of our inn, and we also take care of figurines and arrangements. We do not provide meals, but we will introduce nearby restaurants if you ask.

Originally, we were running a lodging house for college students, but have wanted to open an inn for a long time. We have also entertained the inn’s name for 30 years. Then, we officially opened this inn in January 2019. We hope that we can provide a place with familiar atmosphere like your relatives' home, and you can relax and enjoy a sightseeing stay.
