Have you ever heard of Diphylleia Grayi? Also known as skeleton flower, it has white petals that turn transparent when it rains. It's just a wonder of the nature! We named our guest house Diphylleia Grayi. The world is full of wonders. We believe that traveling around Miyajima is full of fun, inspiration, and discovery. In the language of flowers, Diphylleia Grayi signifies "affection" and "happiness". Our guest house will make you feel free from travel worries, relax your mind, body, and soul.

What we think is important for guests while traveling;
1. To get useful information while exchanging travel experiences with fellow guests
2. To experience different cultures
3. To feel free from travel worries
4. To sleep well and stay healthy

We have communal dining space, lounge, and kitchen. You can cook your own meals in the communal kitchen on the 2nd floor. A big local shopping center and a discount store are located within 7-8 minutes' walk from our guest house. Enjoy shopping in local shops and cooking local specialties. In the lounge and dining space you can enjoy your meals, exchange travel experiences with fellow guests, or get cozy sitting on a counter chair with nice ocean views. You can enjoy rare scenery that trams run along the Seto Inland Sea coast line.

We have 2 universal design rooms for wheelchair access on the 1st floor. The shower (the latest bath system: offering hand-held or side sprayers bars with mist, multi-functional setting) is equipped in each room. 2 universal design rooms share 1 special restroom for wheelchair and ostomate users. There are 5 different types of rooms on the 2nd floor. Each room has a shower and a toilet.

As for meals we serve vegetarian meals if needed. Eating is very important if you follow some kind of restrictive diet. You can also cook your own meal. Get some fresh products at shops nearby.
