The bath has a sauna. The fresh scent of tangerine, said to be a natural tranquilizer, will calm your mind. Please refresh your body after the sauna by bathing in the Goemon Bath water bath (ice can be provided). Children can enjoy playing with water in the garden. There is also a hidden playground like a ninja house indoors. We hope you will find it and enjoy it.

Facility | Bath |
Features | Stone bath culture has flourished in the Setouchi area since ancient times. There were few hot springs in the Seto Inland Sea, so people used to heal themselves in stone baths (saunas) using seaweed and Japanese mugwort. Remnants of this culture can be seen everywhere on Suo-oshima. The bathroom is designed with a stone design reminiscent of such stone baths, and equipped with a sauna. |
Remarks | accommodation for 8 guests shower, shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hand wash, cleansing, lotion, milky lotion, facial cleanser, toothbrush set, hairbrush, cotton swabs, cotton, hair ties, hand towels, face towels, body towels, bath towels, sauna towels, hair dryer |
Facility | Sauna and Goemon Bath (water bath) |
Features | A sauna is attached to the bath. In the adjacent tsuboniwa garden, there is a Goemon-buro (water bath) and a “Totonoi space” to feel the breeze of the Seto Inland Sea. For the sauna's Löyly, there is tangerine aroma water. The scent of hinoki cypress and mandarin oranges will heal you. Because the bath is reserved for one group, you can use Löyly at any time you like. Please enjoy the different way of steam bath healing from that of a hot spring resort. |
Facility | Dining room |
Features | Meals are served here. We hope you will sit comfortably at our spacious tables and enjoy your meal at your leisure. We also offer a welcome service called “Setouchi Mini Afternoon Tea”, where you can enjoy our carefully selected seasonal mini–Afternoon Tea in a private space with Suo-oshima mandarin orange juice and WAKUSUI's original blend of coffee. |
Facility | Japanese-style living room |
Features | The Japanese-style living room faces the garden through a wide veranda and has large beams and pillars that give a sense of the house's history, creating a stately atmosphere. A large window is placed here to connect to the outside, offering a view of the garden, giving a sense of the seasons and a sense of spaciousness. |
Facility | Living room with wood stove |
Features | Available during the winter season (about mid-November to the end of April). Please relax and talk with your loved ones while watching the flickering flames. You can spend your time on the island, free from the busyness of daily life. |
Facility | Garden |
Features | We spent a considerable amount of time building the garden. It has gradually blended in with its surroundings including the building. We will continue to maintain it to make it a peaceful space. |
Facility | Kids' Room |
Features | We have exciting tricks for your children to explore. Why not try to find a hidden room during your stay? |
Facility | Approach |
Features | We have built the area so that you can walk through the gate with full of anticipation, wondering what kind of place you are going to stay today. Many houses have always had gardens and greenery, and one of the features of this project is that we have also revitalized them. |
