Mr. Irie, the architect involved in the renovation, believes that the building's preservation is not the only purpose, but rather the utilization of the building; in other words, the building will only come alive if the "continuity" of the era, Hagi's landscape, and climate is not interrupted. Please use it as a base for enjoying life as if you were slowly living there.
